Common Core Transition from Pass (3-11)--These documents contain the PASS tested objectives to help with the transition to Common Core.  Teachers can use these documents to keep track of the PASS objectives that must be taught within Common Core lessons to prepare students for the OCCT and EOI.

English Standards--The Common Core Standards for Grades K-12

PARCC Model Content Frameworks--This document was produced by PARCC, the testing consortium of which Oklahoma is a governing member.  It gives one model of how Common Core may be implemented in the classroom for grades 3-11.  It is very helpful to teachers who feel overwhelmed because it gives a sensible framework for implementation.

ELA Appendix A--This is an explantion of the rationale behind Common Core and some of the critical elements of it, including text complexity, increased lexile levels per grade, writing, vocabulary and foundational skills.  This document is excellent for understanding Common Core.

ELA Appendix B--This appendix contains excerpts from texts that meet text complexity requirements and sample tasks to use with the texts in the classroom.  This is a list of examples and is not intended to be a definitive list.
