School Policies

Attendance:

Students arriving after the 9:00 bell are considered tardy. You may report your child's absence by calling the attendance line at 869-1845.You may also request homework to be picked up at this time.

Dress Code:

Halter tops, tops exposing the midriff, mesh shirts without a T-shirt underneath are not acceptable.Shirt straps must be the width of three fingers. Shorts must reach the fingertips when the arms are placed to the side. District policy states that clothing that advertises or promotes weapons, tobacco or alcohol, low-point beer, drugs, drug related items or drug paraphernalia will not be worn. Wearing hats or other head coverings inside the school building would also be considered inappropriate. Jeans, slacks, pants, or other garments worn below the natural waistline are prohibited.

Student Checkout:

During school hours ALL students must be checked out through the school office.Please come to our office to sign your child out if you need them before the 3:50 p.m. dismissal time.Only persons listed on the student's enrollment sheet are permitted to check out that student.These policies are for your child's protection.

Grade Reports:

Your child will receive a progress report after 5 weeks in each 9 weeks period.Report cards will follow the completion of each 9 weeks period.Please sign and promptly return the report to the school.

DISTRICT GRADING SCALE:

A = 90 - 100
B = 80 - 89
C = 70 - 79
D = 60 - 69
F = 59 - 0
I = Insufficient Progress
BGL = Below Grade Level
(+) = I do this well (-) = My effort is good; I'm making progress
N = I need to work harder
