Parents and guests of Del Crest Middle School it is a pleasure to extend this welcome to our school.  If your visit is to shadow your child you must give the school a 24 hour notice.  For the safety of our students we ask that you acknowledge the following guidelines during your stay in the building:

Before the visit begins...

• Check into the office
• If you have not given a 24 hour advance notice, please make arrangements at this time to stop by at a later date
• If notice has been given, someone will provide you with a name tag-to be worn the entire visit.
• Put electronic devices in the silent or off mode
• To keep distractions minimal, please stop by the restroom before going to your destination
• Wait for a student aide or employee to escort you to your destination

Upon entering the classroom...

• Check-in with the teacher or person in charge
• Sit in the area designated by the teacher or person in charge

During the visit...

• If shadowing, please remember this opportunity was extended for the purposes of observing your child, not the teacher
• Do not communicate with your child or the teacher during the visit
• If you should have questions during the visit, please schedule a conference with the teacher at a later time and/or date

When the visit is over...

• Check-out through the main office
