Smart Start Central Oklahoma

Smart Start Central Oklahoma has partnered with Mid-Del to bring Early Birds to the children of Midwest City and Del City.  Smart Start believes that, its critical that children get a smart start so that they enter school ready to learn.  This sets them on a path of future success in school and life.  We believe that every child deserves a smart start.  With the help of many partners, we work to inform others about the importance of the early years, to promote school readiness solutions, and support families and communitites so that all Central Oklahoma children get a smart start.



Early Birds
Mid-Del is proud to partner with Smart Start Central Oklahoma and introduce Early Birds. Early Birds is specifically designed for Oklahoma families. Early Birds teaches parents how to instill the love of life long learning at an early age and how to build on a child's natural curiosity. Classes are specific to your child's age, small and interactive. Classes are offered three times a year, one session in the fall, winter and spring.
Metro Library System
123 play with me classes are a partnership with the metro library system. The libraries offer parenting classes, story time, meet the author night, and many more family friendly activities. Check out their website for details.
Parents as Teachers
The mission of Parents As Teachers is: To provide the information, support and encouragement parents need to help their children develop optimally during the crucial early years of life. All children will learn, grow and develop to realize their full potential.
