For Your Child's Safety

Please make sure your child is picked up before 3:00 P.M. each day if he/she does not ride a bus home.  Regular staff members have gone home; coaches are with athletes; administrators may be in faculty meetings, parent conferences, or at the administration building.  It is not wise to assume that a 12-15 year old child will always exercise good judgment when left unattended for an extended time after school.  The building will be locked at 3:00 P.M. and all unsupervised students will be removed from the building.  PLEASE, YOUR HELP IS NEEDED IN HAVING YOUR CHILD PICKED UP BEFORE 3:00 P.M. EACH DAY.

 Transportation ...Buses

Transportation is available for eligible students.  To be eligible to be transported, secondary student (grades 7 - 12) must live within the attendance area and more than one and one-half miles from the school they attend.  Elementary students (kindergarten - 6) must live within the attendance area and more than one mile from the school they attend to be eligible to ride a school bus.

Transportation to and from school is NOT provided for transfer students.

Personal Vehicle Transportation

Students may be dropped off in the front parking lot in the morning prior to the start of school.  The building will be open to students at 7:20 A.M. daily.  Supervision can NOT be provided for students arriving before 7:20 A.M. Parking/unloading in the bus lane is prohibited.  The front parking lot will be closed to through traffic from 2:00 P.M. until the buses have departed.  All afternoon student pickup will take place behind the school in the southwest corner baseball field parking lot.  Student-loading into vehicles will take place in a designated parking spot in the lot to insure students' safety.
