0 as a Factor

1 as a Factor

  • Identity Property of Zero
  • When you multiply a number and 1 the product is the number.

2 as a Factor

  • Skip count by 2's
  • Addition, using doubles
  • The product will always be an even number.

 


5 as a Factor

  • Skip count by 5's
  • The product will always end in 5 or 0.


10 as a Factor

  • Skip count by 10's
  • Add a zero to the end of the other factor.
  • All multiples of 10 end with zero.
