Advanced Placement The College Board's Advanced Placement Program enables students to complete college level studies at Carl Albert High School. This program creates an 'academic bridge' which helps transition students from high school to college. AP courses enrich the experiences of our students who are ready to apply themselves to college lovel courses. The AP program also creates an opportunity for colleges to grant credit to students with satisfactory AP test scores. Any student may elect to enroll in AP courses. |
Philosophy of Advanced Placement We believe in the equitable access of all students to the Advanced Placement program. We work hard to eliminate barriers that traditionally restrict access of students from the AP program such as social, ethnic, and socioeconomic factors. |
