My name is Jeff Holland.  I am the new principal at Soldier Creek.  I am so excited to be a Soldier Creek Tiger!  I have been a part of the Mid-Del School District since I was 5 years old.  I started as a student at Parkview Elementary, Townsend Elementary, Kerr Jr. High and graduated from Del City High.  I taught at Townsend for 7 years, Vice Principal at Epperly Heights for 2 years and recently completed 12 years as Principal at Townsend.  I have been taught and mentored by Mid-Del’s finest educators.

At Soldier Creek, your children will also be taught by Mid-Del’s finest educators.  Soldier Creek is one of best schools in the state of Oklahoma for a quality education.  We have a great staff, great students and outstanding parent support of our school. 

We are currently “under construction” as we begin the two year process of building a 120,000 square foot new school building. The completion date is May, 2014. We will start the 2014-2015 school year in a brand new Soldier Creek Elementary School.  Our students and staff our anxiously awaiting this time.  You can’t help but get excited when you see all of the construction going on out back.  Thank you for support of the recent Mid-Del School Bond which helped fund this project.  Also, thank you for your patience during this construction process.

Soldier Creek is a school of excellence.  It takes all of us to make this school a great place for learning.  Please be supportive of your child’s teacher and the educational process.  If you ever have concerns please contact your child’s teacher through email, phone, agenda or come by the front office.  You play a huge role in the educational success of your child. I am looking forward to working with you and your child this school year.
