Parent Education Programs

OPAT-Oklahoma Parents As Teachers

Our mission is to help all parents become their child's best and first teacher.  This comprehensive, hands on curriculum gives parents the tools and knowledge needed to instill the seeds of knowledge beginning at birth. 

Early Birds 

Parent and child interaction classes for parents with children birth-5.  Providing parents with the knowledge and tools to enhance their children's learning abilities.  Classes are held 3 times a year and child care is provided. 

1-2-3 Play With Me

123 Play With Me is designed using early childhood concepts to enable parents to teach their children pre-literacy, pre-math, and social skills.  Parents and children, ages birth-4 years, attend classes together.  Parents and children will understand the importance of learning through play. 

Title I Parent Education Classes

Parenting classes are available at you local elementary school.  Please contact your home elementary school for topics, dates, and times.  Or check out our calendar for district wide parenting opportunities.

Kids Kampus-Teen Parent Child Care

Young parents enrolled in Mid-Del schools have access to a 3 star, high quality, on-site child care center, located inside Del City High School.  To enroll your child in  our on-site child care, contact your school counselors.
