As Jarman Middle School Assistant Principal, I feel honored to have the privilege of working closely with such an outstanding and dedicated school community! I am committed to continuing the academic and social success of our students through high expectations, a safe and secure learning environment and meeting the individual needs of each student.
As a member of the Jarman Middle SchoolTeam, I would like to share with you some of my professional background and my philosophy as an administrator. I received my Education in Social Studies degree from Pittsburg State University in Kansas. I later received my Masters in Administration and Supervision from Emporia State University, also in Kansas. My 11 years of experience in the public schools includes teaching levels of Social Studies and Math, from 7th grade through high school. I have been a head wrestling coach for 10 of the 11 years. My experiences as both a classroom teacher and a coach have provided me with valuable knowledge and resources to be both an effective instructional and strategic leader as well as a strong advocate for our children's social and academic success.
T.E.A.M - Together Everyone Achieves More, is the key to any successful community. Our strong partnership between home and school is vital in developing, inspiring and teaching our children to reach their highest potential. Our vision of excellence and high expectations as a team provides a supportive and nurturing climate for further success in education. As partners in each child's success, I look forward to working together with you this year! My door is always open to all of you!
