At the heart of the community is the Mid-Del Public School District. Covering 77 square miles in Oklahoma and Cleveland counties, the district is home to more than 14,000 students. The district has a budget in excess of $75 million which includes 1029 certified teachers. This allows for Mid-Del Public Schools to offer a learning environment with an average of 1 -15 student to teacher ratio. Mid-Del Public Schools serves students in 27 school sites, 17 elementary sites, 5 middle school sites, 3 high school sites, 1 night alternative academy, and 1 technology center.
