Secondary Teaching and Learning

The primary role of the office of Secondary Teaching and Learning is to insure that achieving academic success is an attainable goal for all Mid-Del students. For this to be possible, the secondary teaching and learning office works closely; in conjunction with parents, students, principals, teachers, central office administrators, board of education members (BOE), and the state department of education (SDE).

We work diligently to provide students a well-rounded educational experience in a safe, effective learning environment by offering not only solid academic instruction, but also through extra-curricular activities such as athletic programs, band and music programs and other programs including after school and summer Driver Education and summer school.

The Secondary Teaching and Learning office often functions as a hub between students, parents, teachers, principals, central office administrators, board of education members, and a
wide variety of educational interests and/or concerns. From enrollment to textbooks to concurrent enrollment for college credit to graduation, we want all students and their families to know that we are here to assist them and are always available. We will strive to actively discern and meet their needs through positive communication, strong educational programs and the cumulative, district wide commitment to help students succeed.
