Welcome to the Mid-Del Academy

There are many different reasons youth choose to come to Mid-Del Academy, but they all have something in common. Their academic, social and emotional needs, pregnancy and/or parenting responsibilities have not been met through traditional public education. The Mid-Del Academy program strives to keep students in school; supporting them through the achievement of their high school diploma. This is critical when you consider the consequences youth face when they drop out of school.

The Alternative Academy offers students grades 9-12 in the Mid-Del School District, who have dropped out or are at risk of  dropping out of school, the opportunity to continue their education in an alternative setting.

The program offers curriculum through direct instruction from certified teachers as well as computer-aided instruction using Apex Learning.
