WELCOME!

Hello, my name is Tina Rupe and I am a 1st grade teacher at Barnes Elementary. I would like to welcome you to my homepage and invite you to visit this site often. I will be using this site as a means of communicating with parents throughout the year concerning upcoming events in the classroom, i.e. tests, field trips, parties, etc.  

First grade is such an exciting step in your child's education, and I'm honored to spend my days with them.  Please encourage responsibility with your children and check their Barnes Book daily for information.  We will have spelling and vocabulary tests every Friday and their words should stay in their Barnes Book for study guides.

My planning time is from 1:50 to 2:35 each day. If the need arises and you need to contact me, you can email me at trupe@mid-del.net or you can call the office and leave a message and I will return your phone call as soon as possible.
