Mrs. Canavan's Homepage

Welcome to Midwest City High School and my webpage.  My name is Ann Canavan and I am a MCHS alum.  I'm thrilled to be back as a Bomber!  I've taught for twenty-nine years with this being my fifth year here.  I am currently teaching English I and III.  In addition, I've taught all core subjects in the 9th and 10th grade curriculum as well as Algebra II, consumer math, and reading.

I am married with three children.  John, 19, and Steven, 14, attend Norman North High School,  and Rachel, 11, attends Whittier Middle School.  My husband, Barry, works for the Department of Human Services as a program analysist/programmer.  We are busy with competitive soccer, basketball, softball, orchestra, and Special Olympics.
